ISID-Neglected Tropical Diseases meeting-Boston, July 8-10

The ISID-NTD meeting will be a rare opportunity to meet and interact with colleagues from around the world who are working to end debilitating diseases that afflict the world's poorest people. Learn from world leaders in the fields of global health, tropical medicine, public policy and social research about what is happening, and what still needs to happen, to eliminate these neglected diseases.

Registrations and Abstract Submissions (deadline, April 15) are now open for the ISID-Neglected Tropical Diseases Meeting (ISID-NTD) that will take place in Boston this July 8-10. To find updated information about this pivotal international meeting, please go to NTD.ISID.org

28/11/2023International collaborationTo assess the malaria situation and support malaria response in Khanh Hoa province, where the malaria situation is currently the most complex, a working delegation comprising the Institute of Malaria, Parasitology, and Entomology Quy Nhon (IMPE-QN), the World Health Organization (WHO) Office in Viet Nam, and the Regional Artemisinin Resistance Initiative (RAI) Project visited and worked at the local healthcare units in Khanh Hoa province from November 8th to 9th, 2023.

20/11/2023International collaborationThe Institute of Malariology, Parasitology, and Entomology Quy Nhon (IMPE-QN) hosted two delegations on October 5-6, 2023, and October 19-21, 2023. These delegations consisted of officials, researchers, and lecturers from the College of Medicine, Gyeongsang National University, and the School of Medicine, Ajou University. Both Korean institutions are renowned in the field of science and technology, particularly in biomedical technology.
IMPE-QN welcomes international units to visit and exchange research cooperation
5/6/2023International collaborationOn May 26, 2023, the Institute of Malariology, Parasitology, and Entomology Quy Nhon (IMPE-QN) had a meeting with international expert groups that have been cooperating with IMPE-QN in research and treatment of malaria, and other infectious diseases in Central Vietnam. The meeting aimed to further enhance groundbreaking applied and fundamental scientific research, cooperation and knowledge exchange in the field of malaria, drug-resistant malaria, and some emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases that significantly impact human health in Viet Nam.
MOU Signing Ceremony and Joint Scientific Seminar between the Institute of Malariology, Parasitology and Entomology and Gyeongsang National University (Republic of Korea)
9/12/2022International collaborationOn December 7th, 2022, the Institute of Malariology, Parasitology and Entomology Quy Nhon (IMPE-QN) and BK21FOUR Center for Human Resource Development in Bio-Health Industry, College of Medicine, Gyeongsang National University (GNU), Republic of Korea signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for research collaboration on tropical diseases, especially malaria and parasitic diseases in Viet Nam.
